Seeing Is Believing

What Is Vision Therapy?

Vision therapy is a supervised, customized program of prescribed eye exercises and activities designed to improve a patient’s visual skills and the brain’s ability to process visual information. It addresses conditions like lazy eye (amblyopia), crossed eyes (strabismus), eye teaming problems and difficulty focusing, leading to better performance in daily life, school, and sports. The treatment combines in-office sessions with at-home practice, using tools like specialized lenses, filters and computer programs.

According to recent studies, nearly half of all children have a condition that requires vision therapy to correct. For adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the question of vision therapy is less “if,” and more “when,” they’ll need treatment. See Learn Succeed was founded to shine a light on The Unseen Crisis™ and support families who are unable to access vision therapy.

See Learn Succeed
Is Here To Help.

Our foundation is new but growing quickly. Currently, we are supporting practices in Dallas and Indianapolis, with more markets on the way. We are committed to the ease of access of vision therapy care as well as the growth of general awareness for care. Want to get involved? Start by supporting See Learn Succeed today!

Cascading Impacts

See Learn Succeed supports children 5-18 through their vision therapy journey. These years are the most critical for their early-stage development — being the time where they develop career interests, social skills and education opportunities. Vision therapy has shown to improve the quality of life in all areas for adolescents. Ensuring everyone has access to potential treatment options is our priority.

A National Blindspot

Only a few states allow for vision therapy to be fully covered under Medicare/Medicaid, or through conventional insurance. Although the need is great, there is still a massive coverage gap for the majority of Americans. Our organization has set out to raise awareness and help bridge that gap — we need your help bringing this conversation to the country.

With Your Support

Sponsor Patients

Your support allows us to sponsor assessments, diagnostic testing and treatment protocols. Support outreach programs are designed to help parents and teachers identify children at risk before they fall through the cracks.

Educate Families

Childhood vision challenges may lead to more issues. Research suggests vision challenges may indicate a brain/eye disconnect. This can cause symptoms of behavioral and social issues. Educating families is our frontline mission.

Grow Our Cause

Many at-risk children are located in areas without many options for specialty vision care providers. See Learn Succeed is dedicated to ensuring quality care is accessible to children and families, regardless of background and location.
